Choosing the right lash technician

Unfortunately finding the right lash technician is a hard task that involves lots of research! To become a qualified lash technician in Australia you simply need to do ONE day of training. Yes that is absolutely crazy 😳  so this means that just because they preach they’re a “qualified lash technician” doesn't always mean they are any good.

Things to look for:

• Before and after pictures. If they are good at what they do they will show it off!!!
• Reviews!!! Read all the reviews, good and bad!
• Consider what they specialise in. I.e Volume lashes, classic lashes or if they do both.
• My general rule is if you can book an appointment on the same day they aren’t good (just my opinion) as a good lash tech will be booked out!
• AVOID getting your lashes done at a brow/beauty/waxing/nails/etc salon that offers everything, they are most likely in a shopping centre. As a lash technician myself these are commonly the worst lashes I have ever seen!
• Ask around! If you see someone with amazing lashes ask them where they got them done.
• Remember you can ask the lash technician questions however they can tell you what you want to hear.
• Don’t always go on the price. Expensive doesn't mean quality!!!
• If their refills aren’t at least an 1hr long don’t go! As some salons don't remove the old lashes and merely place lashes on top of old ones.. OUCH!
